Company History
Gautam Kumar, 57, has been in full-time practice since 2007 filing Income Taxes, Sales Tax, Payroll Tax, as well as providing consulting services, bookkeeping services, court representations, and audit assistance, to name a few. Mr. Kumar earned his Masters Degree in Commerce from India, followed by a license to practice Chartered Accountancy in India. He obtained his Certified Public Accounting License in the United States in 1994.
With a rich background working as Controller at The Cheesecake Factory Inc., Gautam has consulted for companies such as Grill Concepts, Inc., Make Store, and Mastro’s Restaurants. As Controller, he oversaw:
-Financial reporting for the company, including general ledger maintenance
-Payroll department, which processed payroll for 85 restaurants with about 18,000 employees
-Accounts Receivable and credit card processing department, monitoring the cash and credit card receipts for all Cheesecake Factory restaurants
-Tax Filing, where he where he prepared and filed Sales Tax returns and property tax returns for all 85 restaurants in 22 states
This extensive experience in business management has given him a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of accounting. Starting as a one-man operation and now managing a staff of nine professionals, Gautam knows what it’s like to start a small business and what it takes to be successful. Our goal is to make every client experience a memorable one, with all-encompassing services that cover just about everything, big and small!
